Take your memories home from an unforgettable marathon day – captured in photos you can share and keep forever.
When you cross the finish line at Copenhagen Marathon, it’s not only your medal and the feeling of having achieved something truly extraordinary that awaits you. This year, our friends from Sportograf will place more than 40 professional photographers along the course and in the finish area—and their cameras will be focused on you.
The photographers are strategically positioned at selected spots where the atmosphere is at its peak and where the best images are created. This includes the start area, out on the course, and right behind the finish line.
Your race, your memories
After the race, thousands of photos are uploaded to a server. They are then sorted using AI technology that can identify bib numbers. The result is a collection of high-quality images capturing both your performance and the special atmosphere Copenhagen Marathon is known for.
The sorting process typically takes around 24 hours. After that, you can view your photos via your results page, and if you wish, purchase your memories from race day—ready to be shared, saved, and relived again and again.

How it works:
Run & smile: Enjoy the race and look out for Sportograf’s photographers, who are placed at selected locations such as landmarks, Power Zones, and entertainment spots along the course.
Check your photos: After the race, you can view all your personal race photos on Sportograf’s website.
Buy & share: Choose between single images or a digital photo package—including a beautiful diploma—that you can share with others and keep as a lasting memory of your marathon.
Your photos are selected using advanced technology that can recognise your bib number. And because Sportograf uses two-factor authentication to access the images, you are the only one who can search and find your photos.
So get ready to have your Copenhagen Marathon experience captured. Keep an eye out for Sportograf’s photographers on race day—and remember to wave, smile, and celebrate your achievement as you pass them.
On May 10, you are Copenhagen. Show it!
