Running a marathon is an incredible experience. That’s why – at this year’s Copenhagen Marathon – you’ll be met by more than 30 professional photographers, so you can get some amazing memories from your big day.
When the Copenhagen Marathon 2025 kicks off, the course will not just be filled with loud music, enthusiastic spectators and awesome runners. You will also meet more than 30 professional photographers – aiming their cameras at you.
That’s right. This year, we’re introducing an exciting new collaboration with the talented team from Sportograf, the leading name in endurance sports photography. This collaboration ensures that every runner at Copenhagen Marathon 2025 will have the opportunity to relive their incredible race experience through professional, high-quality photos.
Your race, your memories
Sportograf will position more than 30 photographers along the marathon course and in the finish area. Their mission? To capture your determination, joy, and triumph as you push through the 42.195 kilometers of Copenhagen’s vibrant streets.
Running a marathon is about more than just crossing the finish line. It’s about the journey, the emotions, and the unforgettable moments along the way. With Sportograf, you’ll receive stunning race photos that showcase your effort and achievement.
How It Works:
Run & Smile: Enjoy the race and keep an eye out for the Sportograf photographers positioned at key locations.
Check Your Photos: After the event, visit Sportograf’s online platform to find your personal race pictures.
Purchase & Share: Choose to buy individual photos or a complete photo package with an awesome diploma to keep as a lasting memory of your marathon journey.
Your photos will be selected by a highly advanced facial recognition. This means that we can spot you even if you – for instance – have an arm in front of your bib number. Also you are the only one who can search and find your race pictures, as Sportograf uses a two-factor-authentication to find your pictures.
We can’t wait to capture your Copenhagen Marathon experience. Just keep an eye out for the Sportograf photographers on race day and make sure to wave, smile, and celebrate as you pass them.
On May 11th – you are Copenhagen. Show it!
