Guide: The most fun spots along the marathon course
29. April 2026

Entertainment, Power Zones, and cheering spectators are back as Copenhagen Marathon once again takes over the streets of Copenhagen. See where the route gets extra fun.

Copenhagen is known as one of the best cities to experience a marathon — both as a runner and as a spectator. And we love that combination.

The course is designed so that not only the runners, but also the spectators get to experience the entire city. And with the metro, it’s easy to get around, so you can cheer on your favorite runners multiple times throughout the day.

Below, we’ve gathered some of the very best Power Zones and spectator areas.

Trianglen is a perfect spot for cheering if you don’t want to move too much around the city. All runners pass through the area three times, and you are also close to the Runners Area, where the celebration continues after the finish.
