Getting to the Start
The 44th Copenhagen Marathon starts and finishes at Islands Brygge, DK-2300 Copenhagen, which is located directly at the harbour front close to Langebro, the City Hall Square, and Copenhagen Central Station.
Arrive directly at the start by Metro, S-train and train
We recommend taking public transport to the start and finish area. Public transport is the easier, cheaper and the most environment-friendly way of transport.
Metro, S-train and regional trains all stop within 1-2 km of the start and finish area and operate frequently throughout the day.
The most nearby stations are:
- Metro: Islands Brygge St. (800 metres)
- S-train: Dybbølsbro st./Fisketorvet (1,6 km) or Copenhagen Central Station (2,1 km)
- Regional trains: Copenhagen Central Station (2,1)

Get a race day Event Ticket
You will have the option to purchase a 12 hours Event Ticket for unlimited access to public transport within the Greater Copenhagen Area on race day. It’s easy, inexpensive and available for both participants and spectators.
The Event Ticket will be available in the DOT Ticket App, and all entrants will also receive a link and more information on how to purchase the Event Ticket.
