News
No danish championship in marathon in Copenhagen
The Copenhagen Marathon will not host the Danish Championship in marathon in either 2025 or 2026.
This is because in 2026 the World Half Marathon Championships will be held in Copenhagen. This race will replace the Copenhagen Half Marathon, which usually hosts the Danish Half Marathon Championship.
In order for the national runners to be able to compete in both the Danish Half Marathon Championships and the World Half Marathon Championships, in 2025 and 2026 the DM Half Marathon and DM Marathon will be swapped, so the DM Half Marathon will be held in the spring, while the DM Marathon will be held in the fall.
