Welcome to the Runners Area
There’s plenty to think about before a marathon. That’s why we’ve set up a lovely Runners Area in Fælledparken – right next to the start and finish line – where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere before, during and after the race.
The Runners Area is of course open to everyone. Therefore, it’s also a great place for your friends and family to hang out while they wait for you to cross the finish line.
Keep the park green
Please help us keep keep the park nice and clean – both for the guests, the neighbours and the environment. We have placed Recycling Stations all over the Runners Area so you can sort and dispose of your trash. Our friendly staff be be present at the stations to help you. Thank you so much.

Luggage Storage
We’ll take good care of your race bag while you run. Just attach your luggage tag with your race number to your race bag and drop it off in the big white tents. Be aware that there may be a queue, so arrive in good time and be part of the atmosphere on the square. When you reach the finish line, it’s a good idea to get out of your running shoes and into dry clothes – preferably before your legs get too stiff.
Red Bull
Stop by Red Bull’s zone with the big teepee, where there’s a party before, during and after the race. Quench your thirst and re-energize with free Red Bull samplers while relaxing on the grass – alone or with family and friends.
Hydration station
Thirsty before or after the race? Stop by our hydration station in the Runners Area, where our friendly helpers are ready with a cup of water. After the race you can also enjoy a some cola at the station.
Nike
Nike creates some of the world’s most advanced products for runners. You can meet their experts and test their latest shoes such as Vomero 18, Vaporfly 4 and Alphafly 3 at their pavilion in the Runners Area. You don’t need to wait for the future – Nike is bringing it to Copenhagen!
Medics
If you feel unwell after the race or need treatment in any other way, we have a team ready to help you in the medics tent.
Joe & the Juice
Warm sandwiches, fantastic coffee, and freshly pressed juice. Our friends are ready to welcome you with delicious refreshments after your 42.195 km adventure through Copenhagen.
Restrooms
The Runners Area is also where you will find our toilets. Even though we have booked a lot, there is always pressure from the runners before the start, so make sure to arrive early so you have plenty of time to queue. Also, remember that there are restrooms at all the aid stations along the course.
PR bell
Have you set a personal best? It’s time to celebrate! Come and ring the bell to let everyone know how well you did.
Samsung
Stop by Samsung’s lounge zone, where you can relax in Fatboy chairs and beach loungers. Write your marathon time on the giant Galaxy Watch Ultra photo wall, party with the mascot Gnusmas, and join Samsung’s jump rope competition for a chance to win a Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Aqua d’Or
Stop by Aqua d’Or’s area – or meet them along the way – where they’ll be handing out samples from their Ice Tea selection. Aqua d’Or is also bringing plenty of refreshing water. Remember, you can drop off your empty bottles in the deposit cages at the venue. We’ll donate the refund from the bottles to the SMIL Foundation.
Meyers Food Truck
Meyers will be there with their signature food truck, offering delicious options to satisfy both small and big appetites.
OLIOLI
At OLIOLI, they’ve taken the original Hawaiian Poke Bowl and given it an Asian twist, incorporating familiar flavors from Asian cuisine. A perfect post-run meal after your journey through Copenhagen!
Volt: Extra luggage storage
Need to store a little more luggage than your race bag because you’re heading out into the world after your marathon? Then Volt can help you. At Volt you can rent a locker that is yours for the day.
You order the locker online and receive a code – and then the locker is yours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on race day.
Big screen
It will also be possible to follow the race live on a big screen in the square. Remember to download the Copenhagen Marathon app, where you can select and follow the runners you know. You can read more about the app here.
BMW
In the Runners Area, you can get up close to our lead car, provided by BMW. It’s an electric vehicle, which helps protect the environment—and ensures that the front runners don’t have to breathe in exhaust fumes from a combustion engine.
Carlsberg
Fancy a cold beer or a refreshing soft drink? Then swing by the Carlsberg bar. They’ve brought plenty—and they’d be happy to pour you one!

Are you unsure about something? Then come and ask. Our help desk is open all day and we’re ready to help you.
Changing and Shower Facilities
There are facilities available for showering and changing after you finish the race. You’ll find them near the finish area, at Idrætshuset by Østerbro Stadium.

Meet your friends at Nikes Portal
Looking for a place to meet your friends? Then Nike’s giant portal is the perfect spot. This is where runners enter the Runners Area after receiving their medal, water, and post-race refreshments. You can’t miss it!
