Update, March 17: The planning of this year's Copenhagen Marathon continues. The race will be held in an adjusted, corona-safe version with a 14 km flat loop course.

All entrants who register no later than April 28, 2021, automatically gets their first name and nationality printed on the bib number.
COVID-19: This year's Copenhagen Marathon will, if approved by the authorities, be held in a version that is adjusted to corona restrictions and a reduced number of participants. As a consequence of these adjustments, participants are offered extended rights of entry deferment or refund; please read our FAQ for more details. The 42nd edition of the Copenhagen Marathon will be taking place on Sunday, May 16, 2021, where the Danish capital city once again will welcome runners for an amazing running party in the streets of Copenhagen.

THE CITY AT YOUR FEET
Extremely flat and spectator-friendly, the Copenhagen Marathon is a round course running through the very best of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg with start and finish at the harbour front of Islands Brygge.
Feel the presence of history running through the old part of Copenhagen past Nyhavn (New Harbour), The old Stock Exchange "Børsen" and the parliament building Christiansborg. Take in the sizzling atmosphere while being cheered on by the amazing crowd at Dronning Louises Bro, and enjoy the good vibes in the hip Vesterbro-district.
More than 100,000 spectators will make sure you get all the support you need to get to all the way across the finish line. All the struggles, emotions, unpredictable moments and personal overcomings awaiting you once you take the first step onto your journey, will expand your world and your mind.
BE PACED TO REACH YOUR GOAL
Copenhagen Marathon offers the perhaps world's best pacer services. Close to 60 pacers in 13 pace teams will be lining up with only one obejctive: To get you across the finish line in your dream time.
This ensures a good and safe marathon experience for runners at all levels, whether you are chasing a PB or just aiming to get through with a smile on your lips.
The 13 pace teams will target finishing times from 3 – 5 hours.
