This is race day.
The wait is over!
This is it. All the early mornings, the long runs, and the tough workouts.
It has all led to this day – where you’ll run through the heart of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, lifted by thousands of cheering spectators, music, and an unforgettable atmosphere.
Today, you’re part of something big.
Today, you are Copenhagen.
Have a great race.
See you in the Runners Area
The Runners Area is the heart of Copenhagen Marathon. This is where all runners come together to get ready – and where they relax and recharge after the race.
In the Runners Area, you can:
- Store your baggage
- Use the restrooms
- Grab something to eat and drink
- …and much more
Bring your family and friends along. Everyone is welcome in the Runners Area, both before, during, and after Copenhagen Marathon.
We can’t wait to see you there!
We recommend that you bike, walk, or take the Metro when traveling to and from the start area. The nearest Metro stations are:
- Trianglen
- Vibenshus Runddel
- Poul Henningsens Plads
All three stations have elevators, which might come in handy if your legs are feeling tired after the race.
The start area opens at 7:30 AM, and we’ll be ready to welcome the first runners.
The race starts at 9:30 AM, and we strongly recommend arriving at least one hour before the start. This will give you enough time to drop off your baggage, use the restroom, and find your starting group.
Please note: The start zone is only accessible to registered Copenhagen Marathon participants.
